Golden Retriever charges an invisible fence causing a woman to break her hip in New Jersey

A Golden Retriever was declared potentially dangerous when it charged the boundary of an invisible fencing system causing a woman to fall and break her hip in New Jersey.

A Golden Retriever charged the invisible fence boundary line along the sidewalk in the front yard of the defendent’s property. The woman, having no way to know the dog was contained due to the lack of a physical barrier, was startled and scared. She fell and broke her hip.

The dog was declared potentially dangerous.

I was hired as an expert by the plaintiff to show that invisible fencing systems are not reliable and are an unacceptable method of containment for canines under the law because of the lack of a physical barrier.
